Having formed a strong working relationship in 2010, Elly and Kelly quickly realised they had big dreams – With the desire to create something of their own, a ‘Light Bulb’ moment occurred and EKP was formed. Since day one, they hit the ground running and haven’t looked back since!

Elly Davis

Having completed her education at St Albans High School, Elly then moved on to start her career locally in 2003. Commencing employment in the financial arena, Elly’s career quickly progressed from Payroll Clerk to Financial Controller. Whilst in these roles Elly learnt vast amounts about the financial services industry and has applied this knowledge very successfully to her career in the following years, including a stint working in Australia 

In 2010 Elly took her first steps into the world of procurement as Finance Manager at a Brokerage firm. The  Finance Manager role developed quickly and eventually incorporated Human Resources and Sales. The Human Resources role allowed for an in depth knowledge of the ins and outs of people management, meanwhile, the Sales role allowed for Elly’s education into the cost reduction and procurement world to commence and flourish.

With Elly’s analytical brain, technical knowledge and attention to detail, the Sales role was a match made in heaven. Juggling all of the roles proved a positive step for Elly, both personally and professionally – Elly was now armed with knowledge and ready to take on anything!

Kelly Avis-Hay

After completing her A Levels in Cambridge, Kelly decided to tackle the world and began travelling – starting in South Africa she then moved onto the West Coast of Australia and backpacked her way up the West Coast, across the North and down the East Coast before ending in Sydney, following on from Sydney Kelly did a brief stint in Singapore and Hong Kong before returning to the UK.

It was upon Kelly’s return that she then entered into the world of work – This started with an Events role for Ford of Britain working closely with their Brand Marketing Team. Following on from this role Kelly moved into the agency side of events for more variety, this role included running brand promotional events for T-Mobile along with a variety of very diverse events for a selection of clients.

Having taken on budget, client and project management Kelly took on the role of Broking Manager for a Brokerage firm – This role combined all of Kelly’s skills and she quickly found her feet and got into her stride. Having undertaken her role successfully, Kelly was tasked with managing both the Sales and Broking team – A task which was again successfully undertaken.

Giving Back

EKP believe that charitable giving is important. We assist in raising funds for The Hospice of St Francis via their Corporate Partner Network, volunteer for The OLLIE Foundation and mentored the winning team in The St Albans and Harpenden Dragon’s Apprentice Challenge 2014/15.
